This problem is related to Bug ID 356697 In a freshly installed Debian Stretch with Gnome desktop, Krusader does not show any progress bar or notifications while copying files. kio is already installed and installing kio-extras does not help. Thanks Reza
Version 2.6 has an inbuilt job toolbar for showing the progress and cancel/resume a file job. See Bug 330789. Besides that this is most likely not an issue with Krusader but a problem somewhere between KF5 and Gnome. Can you confirm that the progress dialog is also missing when using Dolphin?
Found a hint in Bug 379887: try starting >kuiserver5 as a background process and you should see the progress window. Can confirm this myself in LXQt with Krusader and Dolphin.
Still an issue or can this bug be closed?
