I installed Kubuntu on my device /dev/sdc (full disk).
After install, it's not possible to boot on the disk (neither /dev/sda nor /dev/sdb), because the boot loader is not installed.
To fix the issue, I had to boot on the live CD again, and install grub manually with grub-install.
After that, it works like a charm !
