I am using Neon "KDE neon Developer Edition", based on release "18.04". The output of lsb_release -a is: Distributor ID: neon Description: KDE neon Developer Edition Release: 18.04 Codename: bionic The problem I found with konsole, is that the changes made to current profile used is not getting saved. For example the scrolling when set to unlimitted and applied. It works for that session. When the system is rebooted, the konsole setting remains unchanged. So again user has to edit the current profile, and update the scrolling. The same problem has been noted for the fonts. When the fonts are changed, it works till the machine is on. After reboot the changes made to the profile are not available.
Hello, is the current profile you mentioned the default profile? Are there other profiles? Can you create a new profile and test if the settings are saved and survive a reboot? Talking about reboot - did you installed the edition? I tried to reproduce this bug, but actually the only way I could reproduce it was when I used the edition image in a virtual machine not having installed it - I do not think any changes will survive in that way (:
Sujith can you please confirm if this issue still exists, there was no response to Thomas' suggestions in 2018.
