Multi/batch rename images fails almost every time - I don't know why - it just fails.

Without to know your full rename settings we cannot help you.

Also, it will help to see the debug trace generated by digiKam while renaming. Use DebugView tool from Microsoft for that.

Possible causes can be invalid characters in the filename, which are not processed by Windows etc. In digikam-6.0.0 a lot has changed during the renaming and has been corrected. please test the current beta1 from here:

https://files.kde.org/digikam/

Due to the changes in the DB please make a backup of your database.

This problem is no longer reproducible, I close the bug.
