These aure the Informaition output after failing.

I want to Render an short animation. Saving frames works but it failed to convert the image Sequence.

Sounds similar to Bug 394538 (possible some local ffmpeg misconfiguration?)

It looks like ffmpeg was built without a necesary option:

Failed to set value '-progress' for option 'nostdin': Option not found

Where did you get your version of ffmpeg exactly?
