Hello, after an update (plasma desktop packages to 5.13.4 yesterday) on a debian stretch, problems came: - system is gone: not networkmanager, no volume control, no notifications, etc.. - no right-click: on desktop only (app ok) - krunner don't lets me run cmd like kquit/ksqtart - shortcut broken: alt+f1 & cannot reasigne on - about nm, i'm constraint to activate network throug system-settings to resolve this problem i rm all kpluginindex.json's files but nothing Since I have not found the right place for a question about system tray as such, maybe someone here knows the answer: is it a bug & how to fix it ? thanks

Can you check the list of packages installed and removed (from /var/log/apt/history.log)? Maybe some required package was removed for some reason.

ok i'm back to inform you that rebuildind the pak works for me thx Luca Niverini for the link : https://bugs.debian.org/907262 wish that next update plasma-desktop pak will be sain (if it was the only one wich was to blain -> so i'm wainting to the answer from Luigi Toscano about it) thx

You don't need to recompile the packages. The issue seems to come from the missing update of Frameworks packages in testing. Only few packages from Frameworks 5.49 migrated to testing, and the vast majority of them are still version 5.47, but the newer version of Plasma was built against Frameworks 5.49. Just update all Frameworks 5.47 packages to the unstable version (5.49) and Plasma should work again. The bug should solve itself when all the packages migrate. Packagers should ensure that the migration of Frameworks happens all at the same time, and it blocks the dependent packages. I'm closing the bug because it's a distribution-specific problem.
