Description Michail Vourlakos 2018-08-21 11:12:12 UTC
The issue appears with Latte panels when the screen scale factor is 2 and there is a Latte panel at the top edge with odd height, e.g. 32px., 34px. etc...

In such case the window geometry of the borderless maximized window depends from the way that window was maximized.

A: Making that window maximized through snapping: drag n' drop the titlebar to the top edge returns a window top left coordinates of 0,33

B: but if instead the user uses double clicking at the titlebar to mazimize the window then the top left coordinates are 0,34

this might look small difference but for Latte is important. Latte supports dynamic background based on snapped and maximized windows. It can be transparent and change to solid only when a snapped or maximized window is present. That 1px. breaks the current implementation.

David if you try to reproduce with Latte revert:
https://phabricator.kde.org/R878:bb8835f156c6cf828d2d8f89d335f813c79dd6a1

which is a workaround in Latte for this
