After changing home directory to different partition gwenview started crashing whlie opening picture. It stable when opened without picture and just with thumbnails. Reinstall - also after using apt-get purge and aptitude without success lines at Terminal while crash:

Thanks for your message.

I'm not really sure what you are doing. Are you saying that opening a specific image works fine when it is located in a particular directory, but crashes Gwenview when it is located in another directory?

What do you mean exactly with "changing home directory"?

As for the crash, please install debugging symbols and resubmit the backtrace (see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports).

Lastly:

That string has been removed from Gwenview's source for version 17.04 with https://phabricator.kde.org/R260:047bc063ec5c21f3bed9fcdc6667892efe6dd8db. I don't know it this is related, but in any case you should try to reproduce the problem with a recent version of Gwenview, e.g. 17.12.3 as found in Kubuntu 18.04.
