Created attachment 114492 [details] screenshot with toolbox next to dockers It is already possible to dock the toolbox in a separate column in the dock area. It's a bit fiddly to get there, but that's not something we can influence; it's part of the toolkit.
yes, i saw what you mean. Actually, it is very easy to add this kind of column on Mac. as I understand you, it is not possible to add a column outside/aside of the dock, (as shown in my screenshot) because of the toolkit.
I checked out your screenshot, that is what I want too!!! XD not sure if my platform (mac) does not allow the arrangement i want… I tried hard to arrange tools as seen in your screenshot. my dock is subdivided into 3 areas. I am able to add columns to one of each area only… else Krita suggests me to add tools in the top toolbar section
i rebuild my dock, starting from 1 dock area, adding the slim toolbar column, then adding another section at the very bottom, and yet another section on the bottom works for me too! great
