example highlighted link

When viewing a PDF that has clickable hyperlinks, would be nice if the path that these links point to would appear highlighted in some mini pop-up when hovering the mouse over them like in other PDF readers.

Is that activated through some setting? Because for me it doesn't work and I have already ticked "Show hints and info messages".

Added an example PDF with a web link. Under okular, the link is not highlighted when hovering the mouse over, while under adobe reader it is.

Yes, that works just fine.

Which is your okular version?

I'm using Okular 1.3.2, running on plasma 5.13.2, frameworks 5.47.0, debian buster/sid.

I guess you're in text selection mode not in browse mode.

I guess you could argue the tooltip should show in both.
