Description John Pocock 2018-08-16 12:25:39 UTC
I am running a new install (after installing GPU drivers and system update etc) of Kubuntu 18.04 and changing the 'Wallpaper Type' in system settings and clicking apply has no effect. The background remains as the default image. I have tried changing to multiple setting e.g. Hunyango or picture of the day but the original wallpaper image persists. Selecting a new image and clicking apply also has no effect.

After restarting the wallpaper changed to be as selected. After this changing the wallpaper worked correctly. I will try to recreate the broken state if possible and update.

Proprietary NVIDIA drivers? If so, does it reproduce with the Nouveau drivers?
