Description Unknown 2018-08-16 03:08:07 UTC
1. Select all
2. Deselect all
3. check filter only

This will allow you to make multiple selections more quickly from search results
You can also prevent erroneous clicking with the mouse
Operations on panels with many search results tend to generate erroneous clicks with the mouse
Search results may be easier to navigate

For 3. check filter only
From the search results, check only the result of the specific extension
You may lose the trouble of rearranging search results

We came up with a new function.
We posted each request separately.
Please let me know if you should post all at once.

I like that idea. Having a column with a checkbox at the left since selecting multiple files in KFind is pretty awkward currently.

(In reply to Kai Uwe Broulik from comment #1)
Thank you
We tried creating an example
Please see the image and description.

1.add, button> select all, deselect all, check filter only
2.add, filter bar> In the example input * .md
We will explain the behavior of filter bars using multiple images
3.add, selected status> Display of 10 selected file in the lower right status of the screen
4.add, regex search> Editable regular expression bar.
Templates can be selected from drop down

It behaves the same as the filter bar in dolphin which is kde's file browser
From the results displayed in the search results, narrowing down is indicated by the specified extension, file name, regular expression, etc.

2-2.kfindaddbar 2
Please be aware that [check filter bar] is ON!
The [select all] and [deselect all] buttons will only check files matching the characters entered on the filter bar
It will not be a filterling search
While checking the search result list, I devised it for action such as turning on / off the check mark quickly

2-2-1. Enter the filter in the search result list,
2-2-2. When you press the [Select all] button, the matching file is checked
In the example markdown is checked

We are also seeing discussions on the design of kfind in the past bug list
we think like this.
If can handle kfind without switching tabs it seems wonderful.
