I followed https://community.kde.org/Neon/BionicUpgrades to upgrade Neon User Edition to bionic. It went fine, but there was one thing that may be worth fixing. To start the upgrade, I changed `/etc/update-manager/meta-release` as in the instructions: # default location for the meta-release file [METARELEASE] URI = https://metadata.neon.kde.org/changelogs/meta-release URI_LTS = https://metadata.neon.kde.org/changelogs/meta-release-lts URI_UNSTABLE_POSTFIX = -development URI_PROPOSED_POSTFIX = -proposed However, towards the end of the upgrade procedure, I was asked whether I wanted to replace this with the upstream version # default location for the meta-release file [METARELEASE] URI = https://changelogs.ubuntu.com/meta-release URI_LTS = https://changelogs.ubuntu.com/meta-release-lts URI_UNSTABLE_POSTFIX = -development URI_PROPOSED_POSTFIX = -proposed which seemed wrong to me, so I declined.
