Description Robin Appelman 2018-08-14 17:16:05 UTC
When kwin is configured to hide the border of maximized windows, the "Force solid background for maximized or snapped windows" doesn't work correctly.

When maximizing the window by dragging it to the top of the screen it works as expected.
But when maximizing the windows in any other way (double click on title bar, keyboard shortcut or maximize button) the background stays transparent.

It looks like the background logic is checking if the titlebar is touching the dock, the same behaviour can be seen without the kwin setting but setting the individual window to "No Border"

yes and at the same time if a window is maximized.

the thing is that in my system I dont have such issue and I cant reproduce the behavior

can you provide a video demonstrating the issue?

Are you using Latte built-in function for this or some other way?

Can you send your laoyut to check if I can produce it in my system?
