Description Isaac Zuniga 2018-08-05 15:54:15 UTC
I'm not sure if this is related to the other issues that selection tool has, but this is major loss of function with the selection tool. If I select a part of the image and manipulate it, whether that be scaling, rotating, or simply moving, (or a combination of the three) when I apply the changes, the manipulated bit vanishes.

Also, something I noticed, after the manipulated bit of the image vanishes, the selection afterwards is incorrect and does not represent selection I made.

(The same applies for the other selection tools as well, such as the polygon selection tool, and so on.)

Here's a video of the issue: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eu2qh9RjT5TvHfOGyOLhFxWetr9swMdO/view?usp=sharing

This is build Krita 4.2.0 pre-alpha (git a878356)

Hi Isaac,

I'm sorry, but with current git master, I cannot reproduce this issue. That's git 44560a8. Is this still broken for you?

Hello Boudewijn, thanks for getting back to me about this issue.

I apologize for not updating this when I got Krita to run earlier today. (The reason I switched to Linux was Windows 10's latest update prevented any build of Krita to launch...)

After I got Krita to open, I tried the same test on the same project. No, you are correct, the issue seems to be resolved. I apologize for not updating this ticket earlier.

Thanks for following up with me on this issue. :)
