After 7.31 or so, my window switcher has stopped working/cycling through windows. Someone else on the forum has posted this issue in hopes of getting help. I am copying his summary of the bug/issue he is facing since it is exactly the same as mine. I placed it under major since keyboard shortcut for switching windows is a major factor to productivity workflow to the user. The user's name was chadn. He wrote: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=153408&p=401948&hilit=alt+tab#p401948 "Mapping "Task Switcher" to Ctrl+Tab, unable to cycle options Wed Aug 01, 2018 10:47 pm I am attempting to map the task switcher to Ctrl + Tab for the same reason as this post here: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=127186&p=337718&hilit=task+switcher+control#p337718 However, my issue seems to be a different one. When I press Ctrl + Tab (and continue holding Control) the task switcher appears with the next application highlighted. However, I can no longer cycle through the available windows by pressing Tab again while holding Control. I've scoured the settings and stack overflow, etc. with no luck. The same problem exists for mapping Alt+~ to Ctrl+~ (for switching windows within the current application). I'm happy to RTFM but have been unable to find a solution to this particular issue, any help would be much appreciated."

However I can set ctrl+tab as shortcut to the task switcher without any problem.

Can you submit that this is impacting you. I doubt there would be a fix if only 1 person is issuing it.
David, I don't know if you are able to get to this, but after tinkering, I found this workaround / solution for the time being. I went to Global Shortcuts / system settings menu / Walk through Windows Reversed - Global Alternative / and manually set to ALT TAB. For some reason the global alternative walk through didn't work completely with alt-tab. Only when I placed it to the walk through windows reverse - set to alt tab- that I got my windows switching back. When I did it otherwise, it only switched to 2 windows out of the 3 i had open...it just kept skipping it. When I put it to the reverse walkthrough, alt-tab worked for switching through every window...although, i still don't have a preview like grid, or flipthrough to cycle through...it just goes to the exact window.
I just did a full system upgrade with pacman -Syu and this problem no longer exists. I apologize I don't have any more details on versions etc.
I just did a master default settings reset and it was fixed. I bet some settings must of created some bug or conflicted with another without how to fix or resolve itself.
