Created attachment 114268 [details] Screenshot of empty app launcher. But no apps were uninstalled, they only aren't listed in Plasma, and actually work.
Running plasmashell with LANG=C doesnt produce this bug.

I haven't had this issue in a while so I will close this issue, and reopen if needed.
Today after using Gnome for a while this issue appeared again exactly as described. It is most likely caused by Gnome but could you help me anyway?
I haven't had this issue for more than a year now so I am closing this.
