Screen recording of Transform tool behaviour.

4.2.0-pre-alpha from krita-testing Lime-PPA.
Ubuntu 17.10
Intel® Core™ i7 CPU 970 @ 3.20GHz × 12
GeForce GTX 580/PCIe/SSE2

Please see attached screen recording.

The transform tool just messes up whats being transformed. It looks like it uses the wrong copy and boundaries when moving. It chops off part of the selection, sometimes all is deleted, sometimes old deletions comes back. Undo and redo is a complete mess...

Recently started, can't say from which version.
No difference if OpenGL is used or not.

That's part of the work Lieroz is doing on Krita's core. The transform tool issues actually should be fixed...

Andrey, can you take a look?
Comment 3 Andrey 2018-08-01 09:30:01 UTC
It's kinda strange. I fixed it just yesterday and i have it working properly.

Maybe the ppa wasn't 100% up to date? David, could you test with the nightly appimage? https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krita_Nightly_Appimage_Build/

Seems like Ubuntu 17.10 stopped being supported just today so I didn't get any updates... Distupgraded to 18.04 and refreshed the KritaLime PPA and now the issue seems to be gone!
There's now a small lag when you press apply where the selected area becomes empty for half a second before coming back transformed, but that's hardly an issue.

Thank you!

Let's close then.

The transform tool still behaves messy in seemingly random ways. Are the tool still being worked on or should I create new bug reports?
