The redshift widget/applet is not working under Wayland sessions. Not sure if this is the right place to put the bug, but would be nice if there could be some workaround to make it work in Wayland.

Marking this as fixed - Plasma 5.12 or later - https://www.kde.org/announcements/plasma-5.12.0.php:
