Created attachment 114190 [details] To many pop ups for one call an om phone When someone gives me a call, many of those widgets appera at the same time. I have to click one hundred times to close each widgte. See the screenshot attached. Does nobody have the same annoying issue?
Does it only happen for missed calls or also for incoming calls and SMS? Can you please run killall kdeconnectd && /usr/lib/kdeconnectd, reproduce the issue and then attach the output here? The command might be slightly different, such as /usr/lib/libexec/kdeconnectd. Also, are you using Plasma or any other Desktop Environment?
I use Kubuntu 18.04 and pure plasma. It happens only when I miss a call I IIRC. I will post the debug output in the next days. Thansk so far.
Okay, I did killall kdeconnectd ; /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libexec/kdeconnectd and then I called my cellphone. I didn't answer the call but as soon as my cellphone begins to ring, dozens of popups appear on my desktop. Here is my output: kdeconnect.core: KdeConnect daemon starting kdeconnect.core: onStart kdeconnect.core: KdeConnect daemon started kdeconnect.core: Broadcasting identity packet kdeconnect.core: Sending onNetworkChange to 1 LinkProviders kdeconnect.core: Broadcasting identity packet kdeconnect.core: Sending onNetworkChange to 1 LinkProviders kdeconnect.core: Broadcasting identity packet kdeconnect.core: Starting client ssl (but I'm the server TCP socket) kdeconnect.core: TCP connection done (i'm the existing device) kdeconnect.core: Starting server ssl (I'm the client TCP socket) kdeconnect.core: Socket succesfully stablished an SSL connection kdeconnect.core: It is a known device "Sony Xperia XZ1" kdeconnect.plugin.sftp: add to dolphin kdeconnect.plugin.sftp: Created device: "Sony Xperia XZ1" Connecting to deprecated signal QDBusConnectionInterface::serviceOwnerChanged(QString,QString,QString) kdeconnect.plugin.mpris: MPRIS service "org.mpris.MediaPlayer2.amarok" just came online kdeconnect.plugin.mpris: Mpris addPlayer "org.mpris.MediaPlayer2.amarok" -> "Amarok" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.plugin.telephony: Creating notification with type: "callReceived" kdeconnect.core: TCP connection done (i'm the existing device) kdeconnect.core: Starting server ssl (I'm the client TCP socket) kdeconnect.core: Socket succesfully stablished an SSL connection kdeconnect.core: It is a known device "Sony Xperia XZ1" This is not very helpful, is it? Do I need debug-libs? Thanks Andreas
Also an incoming SMS at the cellphone appears about 8 times in KDE plasma as popup. Always the same text.
