After many hours of *not* working with Krita, I came back to the opened application window and closed one of the documents, and saw this message:

SAFE ASSERT (krita): "!sanityCheckPointer.isValid()" in file /home/appimage/workspace/Krita_Release_Appimage_Build/krita/libs/ui/KisDocument.cpp, line 504

with 'abort' and 'ignore' message.

I don't have the related document, because it was unsaved and in the end, Krita was successful in closing it.

Hi Konrados,

Thanks for your report. I'm afraid though that it doesn't really help because we have no way to reproduce the issue :-(
