Description gionata.prinzo 2018-07-10 23:24:11 UTC
Created attachment 113872 [details]
the images described in the general description

I have some videos that for example I rotate and zoom in order to fit the video (applying the effect Rotate and Position and Zoom, directly to the clip, before inserting it in the project). If I control with the Clip Monitor the operation seems successful. But when I insert the video in the project, something weird happens: the effect are applied but the dimensions in height and width are the same of the original video before the effects. In the attachment there are 3 images: image one (the original clip); image two (the clip monitor after applying the effects); and image three (what appears in the project, the framework is the same size as the original and shows me only a portion of the video!).

It could be that this is an issue with 18.04 and MLT.
Please try with the current Kdenlive version 18.12.0: https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/

Do you work with the Windows version?

Yes windows.

With 18.12 it seems solved.

Please be quicker next time. The submission is from july 2018 and the answer on january 2019. In this conditions it's not an assistance. And it's not easy to provide info on what I was trying to do 6 months ago.
