Created attachment 113859 [details] Screenshot of bevel and emboss not working I don't get any kind of effects when I attempt to add layer styles. None of the styles work at all. I've tried with selections on and off. I've tried various colors across various backgrounds. I had the problem in 4.0.4 initially so I upgraded to 4.1.0 and the problem persists. I deleted the krita folder in appdata/local given that it has configs.
Hi david, thanks for the image example. Have you tried by clicking on the adjacent checkbox on the left? In that way you tell Krita you want to activate the effect.
