$ gcompris-qt --version qt5ct: using qt5ct plugin gcompris-qt 0.91 Played OK. I don't know what was pressed but now stuck on Favourite activities screen (no menu icons). Configuration options are available. CPU & memory usage high Is there a way to clear local data?
Can you paste the configuration file in ~/.config/gcompris/gcompris-qt.conf somewhere? Then, rename it to something else and start again gcompris to see if it is better.
Thanks. That was what I was looking for. Fixed the problem. This is the problematic file: cat ~/.config/gcompris/gcompris-qt.conf [Admin] cachePath=/home/xxx/.cache/KDE/gcompris-qt downloadServerUrl=http://gcompris.net [%General] baseFontSize=0 defaultCursor=false demo=false enableAudioEffects=true enableAudioVoices=true enableAutomaticDownloads=true filterLevelMax=6 filterLevelMin=1 font=Andika-R.otf fontCapitalization=0 fontLetterSpacing=0 fullscreen=true isCurrentFontEmbedded=true key= kiosk=false locale=en_GB.UTF-8 noCursor=false previousHeight=1024 previousWidth=1858 sectionVisible=false showLockedActivities=false virtualKeyboard=false wordset= [Internal] exeCount=17 lastGCVersionRan=9100 [traffic] mode=IMAGE
Thanks, I'll try to find what is wrong with this configuration file.
I just checked the file. The issue is that the sections are hidden (it can be changed either by pressing Ctrl+S or in the configuration menu via: "The activity menu section is visible"), it's not a bug, it's a feature!
