Created attachment 113789 [details] Current Toolbox There's recently been talks about trying to condense and/or reorganize the contents of the Toolbox docker, so I'm making a wishlist ticket for it. Some ideas are: - Making the Toolbox customizable, allowing users to hide/reveal icons of tools. - A context sensitive Toolbox that hides (and disables) tools that won't work for the type of layer that's currently selected (eg. hiding the Calligraphy tool on Paint Layers and hiding the Brush tool on Vector Layers). - Merging tools that produce similar results and move the differing functionality into the Tool Options (eg. merging Polygon/Polyline into one, making Dynamic Brush into a smoothing mode for the Freehand Brush, and making a single "Shape Tool" that can be used to make line, ellipses, rectangles, and polygons) - Or maybe a little bit of everything, if someone's feeling really pumped :P While not necessary, it may not be such a bad idea to look over how the tools are organized in the Toolbox as well. There might be better ways to sort them by, or maybe at least least small ways to improve the order (eg. putting the three Brush tools next to each other).

I think I told you to put a ticket here, so I apologize. Bugzilla is good for specific action items, but it starts getting difficult to manage when there needs to be more discussion like this will probably need. Often times multiple things come out of it and it makes it difficult to close bugs later on
