both debug and debug-audio turned on

Fedora 28
Amarok 2.9.0
Using 'pulseaudio-dlna' to connect to Chromecast Audio devices

I have been using the pulseaudio-dlna software and 2 Chromecast audio devices for about 6 months .
On Fedora 27 and its version of Amarok I had great success with this setup .
After installing Fedora 28/Amarok 2.9.0 Amarok will unexpectedly change pulse 'sinks' between songs . The attached debug log contains info for when the 'sink' changed from 'Porch' to 'Built In Audio Analog' .

I ran a looping playlist using 'Clementine Music Player' for > 12 hours to one of the CC Audio devices with no issues .

I marked this as 'critical' as this makes Amarok unusable for me .

Please strip down your debug output to the 50 or 100 relevant lines where this happens.

Since Amarok is not doing any playback but lets Phonon handle this, I reassign this to Phonon.

Phonon debug env variables set

I did this

export PHONON_DEBUG=5
export PHONON_BACKEND_DEBUG=5
export PHONON_SUBSYSTEM_DEBUG=2
export PHONON_PULSEAUDIO_DEBUG=5
export PHONON_VLC_DEBUG=5
export PHONON_GST_DEBUG=5

and re-ran the test .see attachment.

Let me modify my original complaint by saying the pa sink changes between tracks but not necessarily every time the track changes .

I cannot point out 'relevant' lines since I do not know what to look for .

The debug output does not have timestamps but in the latest file I think the sink changed between the 2nd and 3rd track .

I will try Rhythm Box to see if it fails or works correctly as Clementine does

Looped playlist with Rhythmbox for 5 hours with no failure
Comment 4 minson 2018-07-07 00:11:07 UTC
I installed
phonon-backend-vlc.x86_64
phonon-qt5-backend-vlc.x86_64

I ran Amarok and it seemed OK for about an hour . However when I clicked on a different track it changed the output device. I changed it back to one of the cc devices and let the track play . At the end of the track it changed the output device back to the analog out .

I then ran Clementine and was unable to make it fail .
