Misaligned text

Text boxes are misaligned, this can be seen when pressing Alt+F2

Can't argue with a screenshot...but I haven't seen that. It doesn't make much sense.

Have you seen this outside krunner?
What version of Qt?
Do you get this when you have scale 1?

I saw similar misalignments in System Settings too, but I've not used wayland much because of these bugs

It's Qt 5.11.1

I've not tried that, I'll try again when I get home

krunner is ok here, but I can confirm the problem in system settings.
Both Arch Linux and neon dev unstable running the same Qt version 5.11.1 are affected. See my screenshot.

I have another problem with font on both systems reported as bug 395566.

I run X11, display scaling factor is 1.2.
No problem if display scaling factor is 1.

Changing title, as it's not wayland specific.

Issue with fractional scaling that was fixed a few years ago when we finally ported everything in Plasma that uses text to a control set based on QtQuickControls2.

Yeah that bug is fixed, though I never did use fractional scaling, only 2x scaling
