Created attachment 113739 [details] qBittorrent window after closing to System Tray and restoring from there If the ‘Global menu’ widget present of any panel (Latte, Default panel, as a titlebar button or even at the desktop) it causes empty window of qBittorrent after I closing it and restore it from System Tray. This problem reproduces only if I close the qBittorrent to System Tray, but not minimize to System Tray. If I remove ‘Global menu’ widget, qBittorrent works fine. I found it out by experienced way. Here is the video I made to show that Global menu widget may causes this bug: https://youtu.be/kgZ-0gWz0gg.
The bug is also present here - Plasma 5.13.2 Arch Linux. It started with Plasma 5.13 update. However I don't use Global menu. See the details in this GitHub bug: https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/9121#issuecomment-402218249

Could be another victim of https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-69277 If possible, please test with Qt older than 5.11.1.
(In reply to Christoph Feck from comment #4) > Could be another victim of https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-69277 > > If possible, please test with Qt older than 5.11.1. I've tried to compile Qt 5.11, but unfortunately get failed. I'm an average Linux user, so not sure that I can do something like that. Maybe someone more advanced can test.

Yes, it's because Qt 5.11.1 version. Today I have tried Plasma 5.13.2 with Qt 5.10.1 and qBt worked correctly. This bug can be closed, because it seems not to be related to plasmashell or global menu.
Sorry, I made mistake, all this things are confusing me. I have tried Qt 5.11.1 with Plasma 5.12.4 (because Plasma 5.13.2 with Qt older than 5.11.1 doesn't work, I see the black screen at start up the system) and qBt had an empty window.
I tried KDE_NO_GLOBAL_MENU=1 qbittorrent but for me it doesn't help. The only solution for me is to use Breeze Look & Feel wich I don't like. I always use Oxygen Look & Feel theme.

But it seems nobody cares. I have 1500+ torrents and I can't migrate to another torrent client. I'd rather wait fo a fix.
Some progress?
Can't reproduce with qBittorrent 4.0.3. Global menu and minimizing to tray does not break anything here.
Closing as it's QTBUG-69277 who has its offending patch reverted in most major distros by now.
