Update activity missing update button, garbled text in upper right corner.

See screenshot.

The "Update" or "Update All" button is missing from the update activity and there is some non-clickable mangled text in the upper right corner. This problem persists using a variety of themes and application style settings, and does not change whether the window is maximized or floating.

I saw a previous bug report where this problem occurred only when more than one update was selected, but it doesn't seem to make any difference in my case.

I only tag this as a "major" bug because it completely prevents me from installing any updates through Discover. I haven't done it yet, but I expect the only workaround will be to uninstall and then reinstall to get the updated packages.

Does the issue disappear if you resize the window at all in any direction?

Looks it could be an issue in the QStyle plugin you are using. Can you give a try with Breeze or one of the default ones?

If so, look into reporting there.

This was caused by Bug 395455, which has since been fixed. Further improvements were made in Bug 396877.
