Description Björn Bidar (Thaodan) 2018-06-29 22:56:54 UTC
When single process mode isn't used its not possible to attach/detach tabs to other windows.
Is this intended?

Works for me without using single process mode. Can you verify that switching that setting (and only that setting) on and off triggers and fixes the bug?
Comment 2 Christoph Feck 2018-07-02 01:19:58 UTC
Nate, if this works for you, you probably have not restarted Konsole :)

To transfer a tab between separate processes, I guess Konsole has to be completely redesigned. Similar to recent work in Web browsers to use separate processes for each tab.

Attaching/detaching tabs works for me with both single and multi process mode with Konsole from git master--including when I restart after changing the setting. :)

If you start 2 different konsole separately, you can not move tabs between them regardless of the 'single' settings.

So I'm not sure what the reporter is trying to do.

Yes I tried that and thats exactly what happens.

Thats I exactly what I reported.
I had not single mode enabled and move tabs between two windows.
With single mode it works.

A better hint to that would be great, even if this is intended.
