I use Krita 4.1.0 on a Surface Pro 3 laptop.

After opening a .kra file:
As soon as I click on the transform tool (using mouse or a stylus), the application immediately crashes right after.
No autosave recovery option is displayed after reopning the application.


Crash occurs every time I click on transform tool regardless of which .kra file is open.

I cannot reproduce this issue.

* Can you check whether this also happens if you disable 
* Can you please try to make a crash log: see https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/dr_minw_debugger.html#dr-minw

Okay, we found  the problem: 

If you experience a crash when enabling the transform tool in krita 4.1.0, go to your kritarc file (https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#where-are-the-configuration-files-stored …) and remove the line that says "filterId=Box" in the [KisToolTransform] section. Sorry for the inconvenience.
