Description will_kranz 2018-06-26 06:09:44 UTC
This was the first and only time I have used this program.
I received a *.pptx power point presentation file which is 23MB.
Windows 7 opens it fine, but I like linux better in general so I tried to open it from the Dolphin File Manager. It by default opens Calligraactive to display the file. It loads and displays it screen, then as tries to parse file quits with the segment fault shown below in the crash report.

I tried to file this in the automated way but you system decided it was the same report as bug 355657 which is also a segmentation fault. However no solution seems to be presented although its marked as closed. I don't know how your system works, but don't see how you can close a bug if the program is unusable due to it.

I repeated the attempt to open this file and duplicated the behavior.
I can go back to Windows, but include the minimal information the system provided in the crash report below:

Application: calligraactive (1.0 Beta)
KDE Platform Version: 4.14.21
Qt Version: 4.8.7
Operating System: Linux 4.4.14-smp i686
Distribution (Platform): Slackware Packages
