The problem manifests itself with recent versions of Krita in appimage. I have an old flattened design (krita-4.0.4-057e653-x86_64.flattened) that works great. I have no idea what you mean with "flattened". We use linuxdeployqt since Krita 4.0.0 to create the appimages. Maybe Void linux just is incompatible with the way appimages made with linuxdeployqt work. I don't think I can do anything more with this issue.

And the 4.1.0 appimage? The problem I see with 4.0.4 is that Python cannot find its sitepackages in the appimage, but that should be fixed with the 4.1.0 appimage.
Hi Boud, you see that Krita 4.04 (startup log in previous post) doesn't find her "sitepackages" in the appimage, but I see that the program apparently works without problems. All subsequent versions (also krita-4.1.0-x86_64.appimage just downloaded and tested again) instead produce the following error message: "open dir error: No such file or directory" Obviously there was a variation in the options for compiling the "appimage" file.
