Description Evan 2018-06-24 23:57:36 UTC
Application: dolphin (17.12.3)

Qt Version: 5.9.5
Frameworks Version: 5.44.0
Operating System: Linux 4.15.0-23-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 18.04 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Moving a file from ~/Downloads to another directory - which at the moment I can only remember has been to a cifs mount at /<cifsmount> but may have happened again as I get this error every time (10+ times) since upgrading to Kubuntu 18.04.

First the error states that there are permissions preventing writing to the folder, then after clicking retry, it says the original file is missing in ~/Downloads, hitting retry brings errors, and after clicking ignore, Dolphin crashes. Checking the destination folder, the file is there and was actually moved.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

Thanks for the detailed report. We are already tracking this issue in #368287.

Since you can reproduce the crash, please install debug symbols for kio and kcoreaddons and then post a new backtrace. Thanks!
