The pressure sensitivity with my wacom tablet is not working. Everything I tried has failed such as clearing preferences for wacom, uninstalling then reinstalling the driver, uninstalling krita, clearing preferences for krita by removing files from appdata, changing USB ports, removing the tablet then putting it back in, and restarting the computer.

Info
-windows 10
-wacom intuos draw (old version)
-a very bad laptop

Also in the wacom settings it does sense the pressure and when I use SAI the pressure sensitivity did work. I also tried gimp but that didn't work either. Probably because I don't know how to use it.

Okay, Krita cannot find the driver for your tablet, so it is only getting mouse events. We've been getting a lot of these reports recently, but it all boils down to Windows 10 updates and Wacom driver updates breaking things... It's not something we can fix in Krita, it's a system issue.

You don't mention whether you have tried to enable the windows pointer api in Krita's tablet settings. Does that make a difference?

Yea i did try it and it didn't work. Also i forgot to mention that sometimes a portion of the canvas will sense pressure if the offset is wrong.

Hm. I've actually been able to recreate a setup that shows these problems. I'm contacting Wacom again, because it still isn't a bug in krita, but a problem with windows 10 updates breaking the wacom driver.

The bug should be marked as upstream, but I still haven't heard back from Wacom

Hello, I add my bug here since it seems related to a wacom driver bug (since today or a few days, windows 10, same in 4.0.4 (which work fine before) and 4.1)
My tablet (cintiq 13HD as a secondary screen with extended display) does not respond properly on the krita canvas area, pressure works fine but there is an ofsset in the canvas area (other drawing software works fine).
The tablet is configured to use only the screen of the cintiq with a button to change screen which put the two screen area in the tablet. Everything work fine in the krita windows except in the canvas area where there is an ofset between the stylus and the pointer (like if the tablet was in change screen mode)
Putting my screen in clone mode (same display in both screen) resolved the issue for now.

I've been able to set up a test system that shows the offset/pressure issue with the latest driver. This is what wacom had to say:

"Hi Boudewijn,

Here are our findings.

6.3.30 fixes a bug with incorrect Wintab defcontext X and Y values on display tablets. This is likely the cause of their offset if they find that installing 6.3.29 resolves the issue.

Please use the 6.3.30-6 driver since it fixes an incorrect Wintab data, this might fix the offset issue. The fix has no bearing on the pressure – so that is something else going on. If the Krita app works “correctly” with 6.3.29-6 and does not work “correctly” with 6.3.30-6, then the offset problem is almost certainly due to that fix.

Although the fix addresses the old incorrect data problem, any app being built around that old data behavior may not work the same. I can provide some sample code that shows how the digitizer context data can be used correctly if you like.

Let me know if you have more questions."

I've asked for the sample code.

Wacom has been in touch with me and told me that there will be an updated driver release in August that fixes these issues.
