Recording showing the glitch

When transitioning between desktops, if on the desktop being switched to there is a widget to be shown, its blur will be applied after the transitioning has been complete and will render as simply transparent(no blur) for some time which is noticeable.

Steps:

1. Change from one desktop to another
2. While the transition is happening use a shortcut to open one of the widgets(assign a keyboard shortcut to one of the widgets in the tray if needed)

plasma 5.15 beta under X11

I can reproduce on Arch Linux running plasma 5.15 beta (only under X11).

Operating System: Arch Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.90
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.54.0
Qt Version: 5.12.1
Comment 3 Nate Graham 2020-07-14 19:22:29 UTC
Is it still happening with current git master?
Comment 4 Patrick Silva 2020-07-17 11:16:58 UTC
It's still reproducible on Arch (Plasma 5.19.3), it's not on neon unstable.

Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.73.0
Qt Version: 5.14.2
Comment 5 Nate Graham 2021-07-29 17:16:53 UTC
This seems to be fixed now.
