Description Michael D 2018-06-05 08:30:34 UTC
In Dolphin, initiate a search (ctrl+f) in folder X. Then navigate to another folder Y, e.g., by clicking on one in Places. Navigate back (alt+left arrow). The contents of folder X are shown and not the search results.

It makes sense to back to the last thing shown prior to navigating to folder Y, which is the contents of the search query. If this is too hard/costly to implement, then please close this bug.

I'm not sure whether this is a bug or a wish, but it seems more a bug to me.

Can confirm with Dolphin 18.04, I would treat this as a bug because this is clearly not the behavior a user would expect.

Still an issue on Dolphin git master. Updated version to the latest listed.

Here's something interesting: on my machine, pressing back (alt+left arrow) thrice brings up the search result page! Not sure why, though.
