Description sqdqsddd 2018-05-27 19:01:18 UTC
When "eraser switch size" is checked, if you edit any settings in the brush editor window (size, opacity, anything), the changes are also applied to the eraser (and vice versa).

reproduce step :
1. have a brush, check "eraser switch size" in the brush editor window
2. make the eraser look/act different from the brush (size, opacity)
3. open the brush editor window, change the size (or opacity) of the brush from the window.

Expected :
brush has new size/opacity/flow/etc, eraser mode keeps it's own settings.

Actual result
brush and eraser now have the same settings.

(the opposite works the same, if you modify the eraser settings, it'll affect the brush as well). Also the same happens with the eraser switch opacity settings.

It sounds like this is more of a feature request than a bug report. The setting is called "eraser switch size". The purpose of it is to keep the size between an eraser and brush. It doesn't affect anything else. It is similar with the opacity checkbox that keeps a separate opacity for brush and eraser.

What you are expecting is what most people are not expecting. That is what we would need to figure out for what this feature request would be.
