The error report created from the crash

My systemsettings application crashes when I attempt to access the display and monitor configuration while in single screen mode. 
The whole systemsettings application freezes for a short moment before ultimately crashing and closing. This behavior is reproducible at least for KWin under X

I ran into the same problem after upgrading today. I could "fix" the problem by downgrading libkf5screen7 via:
apt install libkf5screen7=4:5.12.5-0neon+16.04+xenial+build60

Nice to know, but that seems to be a problem in the display libraries then, which could be probably fixed by providing an updated version of libkf5screen7
