if you install kdenlive in Cinnamon DE (without having KDE installed alongside -- on Linux Mint, for example), the 'Themes List' will have less items, and the 'Customise' option won't be available. It would be great if we didn't have to install KDE so as to have KEDNLIVE in its full functionality :) :) but seriously... although the name might explain it, formally, I guess there is nothing that actually links this video editor to KDE specifically.. artists using Cinnamon DE should be able to use KDENLVE without limitations... I mean, even artists stuck to Windows should get the same experience -- cause it's all about FREEDOM ... (of which, I know, nobody needs to remind you :)) - - - Linux mint, 18.3 CinnCinnamon 3.6.7 #48~16.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Thu May 17 12:56:46 UTC 2018
Created attachment 112835 [details] that's all that's left of the THEMES list
Workaround: Copy /usr/share/color-themes from plasma-desktop to ~/.local/share/color-themes You can then uninstall plasma-desktop again.
Oops, replace "color-themes" with "color-schemes" in comment #2. On the other hand, every application that uses KColorSchemeManager should have access to the default color-schemes, so I moved this ticket to the KConfigWidgets framework.
