Sometimes strokes will appear faint. other times brushes will appear solid and will not change stroke size or opacity.

Hi Imani,

Of course Krita supports tablets. However, many cheaper tablets have awful drivers that have only been tested with Photoshop. In the past three, four years there has been no case where an issue with pen pressure was not caused by a broken driver.

However, you haven't told us:

* which OS you are using, exactly
* what tablet you are using
* which version of the tablet driver you are using
* the tablet log output (https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#What_if_your_tablet_is_not_recognized_by_Krita.3F)

And without that we cannot help you.
