wi-fi adapter disabled, system tray shows wired icon despite no wired connection is configured

some time ago plasma received new network icons
https://phabricator.kde.org/D11390

Disconected wi-fi icon should have a red X in the corner, but on my system
I see a red question mark (see screenshot).
When my wi-fi adapter is disabled, no wired connection is configured and no cable is connected to my ethernet adapter, system tray shows the icon of wired connection (???). See screenshot. Correct network icon when wi-fi adapter is disabled represents wireless signal and has a red line on the diagonal (see phabricator link above).

This is correct as "ethernet" icon is the default icon for the applet.

what about wi-fi icon with red X in the corner indicating offline status
and wi-fi icon with red line on the diagonal indicating disabled wi-fi adapter?
