Ok,so I just did the major Mageia update that was released on Friday May 11 > I knew K3B had a couple of bugs in it, which I had hoped were fixed. Anyway, I'm running K3B 17.12.2 on Mageia 6 with all updates. This morning I tried burning a Blu-ray disc. The disc burns OK (or at least it says it does) First thing I notice is that I'm unable to close K3B by clicking on the "X" in the top right-hand corner. I have to use Konsole and the kill command to stop it. I'm pretty sure the disc doesn't finalize correctly. I think it's a problem with growisofs. I can't make a copy of the disc because I get an error that says "unsupported media type." (I'm also going to try installing Mageia 6 under VirtualBox.) I know it's not my hardware, as it works perfectly under Windows 10 using several different programs. Please tell me what I need to do to fix these two problems. Thank you!
You already reported that two issues some time ago. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=387599 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=385667
That's true; I did. I was hoping that the major Mageia update would fix it. currently, I will be trying a fresh (updated) install of Mageia 6 under Virtualbox to see if the behavior is different.
