Description thilo 2018-05-01 21:20:02 UTC
When a Video file is inserted, the file can enlarged, I mean the durance can be enlarged by clicking at the end and drag/push it to the side, a green cursor is shown.

When I insert a WAVE file, the green cursor appears, but I cannot drag at the ends.
When I insert a MP3 file, no green cursor is shown, at both ends (if there is space at the left site).
When I cut the WAVE file into peaces, the left part can be dragged to the left or right site, if there is some space at that site(s). The right part is fix, like described before.

Double clicking at the files, and increasing the duration manually at the wanted duration does not change anything, after closing the window the old value is kept.

Regards, thilo

Dear Christoph,

there is only a an Appimage, but no other source for Debian and Ubuntu...

How can I cat a newer Version - eventually source code to compile?
Comment 4 Christoph Feck 2018-06-21 11:01:42 UTC
The sources are at https://cgit.kde.org/kdenlive.git/

I suggest to use a stable Applications/17.xx or Applications/18.xx branch, depending on your available dependencies.
