System load during 2 syncs

Reproducability: always.  With at least 5.6*, 5.7* and 5.8.0

Switch from any folder to the INBOX (imap to dovecot server).  The Status widget in the lower right corner of kmail pops up and shows 2 syncs of the inbox.
  * Each sync takes ~ 9 sec (INBOX: 4470 msgs, 407 MB) 
  * Systemmonitor: Download ~ 350 - 500 kB/sec peak (see attachment)
  * akonadi writes nothing to ~/.xsession-errors during the syncs
  * Folder properties

Running akonadictl show only 'not normal' logs: items without RID.
