Created attachment 112287 [details] Profile for 5D and lens no ND I use X-Rite colorchecker passport with Lightroom to calibrate my cameras and lenses so that I can control the colours far more accurately than the built in profiles from both Canon and Adobe. It also removes the colour cast from ND filters amazingly, because it uses a standard colour board to work out how the colours should be. Currently, I have not found any software besides Adobe, that can use these profiles created by the colorchecker software. It is the only real reason that I must stick with Lightroom for now. It would be a very good addition to your software. I am happy to aid in the implementation. I have 3 Canon cameras - 40D, 7D & 5D MKIII - my family have 600D and I have profiled all of them and the lenses/ND filters I use. I can provide you with the profile files to inspect their properties and figure out how they could possibly be implemented. ;-) I'm sure there are other users of your software that will have the colorchecker passport that could help as well. :-) Thank you or your consideration.
For ExifTool: DCP R/W DNG Camera Profile (DNG-like) R/W/C R/W/C R/W/C R/W/C It's a RAW color profile based on DNG. I tried Exiv2, it cannot decode. I cannot test with lcms2, the Color Management Engine use in background to process color profile. I'm not sure if libraw can support it as well. lcms2 is used inside the RAw decoder library to process color management. I just tried to : 1/ rename your file as icc. 2/ Run editor Raw import tool 3/ In CM section, i setup your profile. There is no error and no exception generated. On the console all is fine. So, we must to know if lcms2 support really this kind of profile. Gilles Caulier
