In case the title is unclear, note that there is a significant difference between "read confirmation" and "delivery confirmation". As it stands, kmail only supports the former. You can activate it on a per-message basis by enabling [Composer] -> [Options] -> [Request Disposition Notification]. You can also enable it holistically in the settings. This issue requests the addition of the latter. This would imply that the following is implemented: - [Composer] -> [Options] -> [Request Delivery Confirmation] - [Kmail] -> [Settings] -> [Composer] -> [Automatically request message delivery notifications] This has also been discussed to some degree over at #88988 for kmail 1, but has never been resolved due to formal faults (it appears).
