Created attachment 112225 [details] Krita can't find brush presets I've installed and uninstalled the program 4 times and it will not stop giving me this error message. I've asked for help on the subreddit to no avail. According to my research, this has occurred with Krita Gemini (which I don't use) but the file that fixed it in that instance apparently doesn't exist for the 64 bit Windows version.
This usually happens when there are some settings left over from previous installs that got messed up somehow. You can try to remove all your temporary files. Those don't get deleted when you uninstall Krita. https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Resetting_Krita_configuration I would just delete your kritarc and krita folders in your appdata area. That should resolve it.
As Scott noted, please try to reset Krita's configuration makes a difference. Also, what location did you install Krita to?
