Created attachment 112128 [details] Krita not allowing export. At first Windows 10 saw Krita as a threat and wouldn't allow saving to the Pictures folder. I allowed an exception for the Krita folder. I then tried to save, save as and export my work but still unable. see attached.
Where did you get krita from? And what file did you download exactly? If you use the installer, Windows Defender doesn't see Krita "as a thread" because the installer is signed, but 3rd party security software might. In any case, this isn't a bug in Krita: it must be some setup issue on your system. A bug is a problem in Krita's code that we can fix.

A bug is a problem in Krita's code that we can fix. I downloaded Krita from the .org site. I don't have a third party security software. I just installed 4.0.1 and Windows 10 still didn't like the signature so I had to make an exception again. The file is krita-x64-4.0.1-setup Thanks
Windows 10 update cause the issue which is now resolved. Thanks for the heads up and a great program, sorry for bothering you, I am a digital artist not a computer guru. Keep up the great work. Thanks
Thanks for letting us know!
