Why not allow this to work with mpd (from what I briefly got about this is that you can stream from your PC music using some app on the phone for ex). Either set up mpd by yourself and have a separate thing in the app to allow you to stream or even have the deamon already configured in the pc application. Would be even more awesome to have something like that for video too and even files. So maybe something like Kloud with kde connect being a way to access it.

Kloud? Oh come on, that has to be done, doesn't it? :)

Can you please be more precise in what you want us to do? Do you want to control mpd sessions from KDE Connect or do you want to stream audio across devices?

In essence I want to be able to leave my PC at home but be able to stream my music from somewhere else, as if my PC is a server. This most likely is too much for kde connect I think but I was suggesting.

Steaming audio over KDE Connect sounds like a huge task, and not really what KDE Connect is meant to do.

Maybe there's a pulseaudio client for Android? If so, you could use that, and use KDE Connect for control?

If there's a smaller, better defined feature (somewhat within the scope of KDE Connect), or if you have more feedback/questions, feel free to reopen this bug.
